Ashwin Masam Festivals Dates given below-

Ashwin Masam/ Ashwayuja is the Seventh lunar month in Hindu calendar.In Hindu Calendar, there are two methods to mark the lunar month. In one, lunar month is marked from Purnima to Purnima (known as Purnimanta calendar) and in other lunar month is marked from Amavasya to Amavasya (known as Amanta calendar).

Ashwayuja Masam 2022 in Telugu calendar is from October 7 to November 4 in south India.  Ashwin Month in traditional calendar followed in North India begins on September 11, 2022 and ends on October 9, 2022.

Ashvin Month in calendars followed in Gujarat, Maharashtra and Karnataka is similar to the Telugu calendar.

Navratri, Durga Puja, Dasara and Diwali some of the most important festivals in a Hindu calendar year is observed in Ashvina Month. Some of the other auspicious days in the month include Mahanavami, Vijaya Dashami, Kojagari Vratam, Narak Chaturdashi etc.
